Lisa delivered her first cake for Cake4Kids in November 2022. She joined after she had to resign her position in special education due to an injury. Feeling bored and wanting to do something meaningful, she searched a volunteer database and found Cake4Kids. As soon as she saw it, a spark was lit!

Lisa also works part-time as the Kennel Assistant at a local animal control facility and volunteers at a sanctuary farm where they have five mini donkeys, two sheep, and two goats!

In her spare time, she enjoys going out with friends trying different restaurants, breweries, and the occasional winery! She enjoys sitting on the deck or by the fire pit with her husband, son (when he’s home) and two pit bulls, visiting her grand-dog (and her daughter and future son-in-law) in DC and planning their next party!
